Days Gone - Environments

Big shout out to the heavy lifters of this game who really made Days Gone a sell and a visual orgasm! The guys who you know, put these levels together : Brandon Wilson, Ryan Grubb, Caleb Kennedy, Alex Olstinske, Alex Wells, Ian Goold, Nicolas Soriano, Nate Weikert, Justin Kimball, Russ Severe, Kyle Hugg, Christopher Emerson, Lisa Barber, Matt Williams, Dylan Rainville, Dan Quinn and all the others (Can't name em all!)

Here are some screenshots of the work I did on days gone. I had the opportunity to work on allot of gore materials, and decals. I worked on several base construction kits that are used through out the game. I also did allot of the fallen trees, stumps that serve as ground cover as well as most of the bark on the trees and samplings for each tree type in game which will be shown in my next post. (Break downs of my work coming soon!)

Here a sample of the some the rubble textures I made for Days Gone. No this is not mesh or displacement, this is 100% depth bias occlusion!  Yes those are shadows and light casting under a flat texture!
